Shipping Policy



We make our best effort to work with, advise and keep you informed about your order and/or interest in a particular product.

There are minimum shipping and handeling (S&H) costs applied to every shipment. For orders shipped via UPS, the S&H minimum is $9. For orders shipped via USPS, the S&H minimum is $3.

For larger shipments, the S&H costs will be determined by the weight, destination and method of delivery.

Turnaround

More than 90% of our orders go out the same day. If your order is received by us before 3 pm Pacific Time, it will probably ship the same day.

Depending on the terms of your account, your order may be shipped as soon as possible or shipped once payment is received in full.

If an account has or had an amount past due or other evidence of payment problems, at our discretion, we may modify the terms of the account. We may suspend any shipment of any pending orders or restrict any future orders until the account's balance due is returned to a satisfactory level.

We will do everything we can to accommodate a specified delivery time. But, since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond our control, we make no guarantees, whether expressed or implied, that your order will arrive by a specific date or time.

Shipping Schedule

For orders shipped by UPS, we have a Monday through Friday pickup at approximately 4:15 pm Pacific Time, except on days when we are not open (see our schedule below). We ship using UPS Ground unless you request otherwise. In general, UPS is better for getting your package when delivery is time critical.

For orders shipped by USPS (US Postal Service), we deliver these packages to the post office once a week, usually on Wednesday. Even if your chosen shipping method is Priority Mail 2-Day, the package will be sent to the post office no earlier than our regularly scheduled shipping day. Please take this into consideration when deciding your method of shipping. In general, USPS is better for a less costly shipping method.

If you require delivery before the estimated delivery date capable by the USPS, we suggest you choose one of the methods provided by UPS solely because UPS picks up from our location every weekday.

If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order and we or the carrier will inform you by email of the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail do not have tracking numbers.

Expedited Shipping

If you need your order by a specific date, please call (510) 524-1191 or email us (info@cpli.net) instead of placing your order online so that we may check to see whether delivery with your requirements is possible.

We can ship your order through either UPS or the US Postal Service. UPS picks up packages Monday through Friday. Since there are limits to what the USPS will pick up at our location, we mail packages at our local post office once a week, usually on Wednesday.

We do everything we can to ensure your important order arrives on time, but it is not possible to fulfill every request. For this reason, we ask that you contact us directly regarding rush orders.

Sales to Addresses Outside the USA

If you would like your order shipped to an address not in the USA, please contact us by phone, fax or email to place your order. Online orders are currently only available to USA destinations.
